Kelas 1: Semak Kemahiran Peserta

B. PENGGUNAAN MOUSE/ TETIKUS
Tetikus ialah peranti input ke komputer yang berfungsi mengawal gerakan penunjuk atau kursor pada skrin paparan. Ia merupakan peranti kecil yang bergerak di atas permukaan keras dan rata.

Fungsi tetikus asas masih sama dan biasanya boleh dibahagikan kepada empat aktiviti utama, iaitu:
1-Klik atau klik tunggal (CLICK)– untuk membuat pilihan yang tertentu pada skrin papa
2-Dwiklik (DOUBLE CLICK) – untuk membuka dokumen atau memulakan program.
3-Klik kanan (RIGHT CLICK)– untuk memaparkan senarai arah /program pada skrin komputer.
4-Heret dan lepas (DRAG & DROP) – untuk proses pemindahan ikon/item pada skrin.

PENUNJUK/ KURSOR TETIKUS
The following mouse pointers are shown as your mouse passes over different elements of the screen:
 Normal pointer
This pointer appears during normal use of the mouse.
 Busy pointer
This pointer appears over a window that is busy performing a task. You cannot use the mouse to give this window any input, but you can move to another window and work with that.
 Resize pointer
This pointer indicates that you can grab the control to resize parts of the interface. This appears over the borders of windows and over resize handles between panes in a window. The direction of the arrows indicates in which direction you can resize.
 Hand pointer
This pointer appears when you hover over a hypertext link, in a web page for example. This pointer indicates that you can click on the link to load a new document or perform an action.
 I-beam pointer
This pointer is shown when the mouse is over text that you can select or edit. Click to place the cursor where you want to type text, or drag to select text.


The following mouse pointers are shown when dragging an item such as a file, or a piece of text. They indicate the result of releasing the mouse button to drop the object being moved.
 Move pointer
This pointer indicates that when you drop the object, the object is moved from the old location to the new location.
 Copy pointer
This pointer indicates that when you drop the object, a copy of the object is created where you drop it.
 Symbolic link pointer
This pointer indicates that when you drop the object, a symbolic link to the object is created where you drop the object. A symbolic link is a special type of file that points to another file or folder. For more on this, see Seksi 6.6.13 ― Creating a Symbolic Link to a File or Folder.
 Ask pointer
This pointer indicates that when you drop the object, you will be given a choice of what to do. A menu will open to allow you to choose which operation you would like to perform. For instance, you may be able to move, copy, or create a symbolic link.
 Not available pointer
This pointer indicates that you cannot drop the object at the current location. Releasing the mouse button now will have no effect: the dragged object will be returned to its starting location.
 Move panel object pointer
This pointer appears when you drag a panel or a panel object with the middle mouse button. See Chapter 4 ― Using the Panels for more information on panels.
 Move window pointer
This pointer appears when you drag a window to move it. See Seksi 2.3.2 ― Manipulating Windows for more information on moving windows.

C. PENGGUNAAN KEYBOARD/ PAPAN KEKUNCI
BAHAGIAN PAPAN KEKUNCI:

Papan kekunci yang banyak digunakan sekarang ialah jenis yang mempunyai 105 kekunci (keys). Mengikut susunan kekunci (keys) papan kekunci ini boleh di bahagikan kepada 4 bahagian:
i)        Kekunci Fungsi
Terdapat 12 kekunci fungsi (function keys) yang dinamakan F1 hingga F12. Sesetengah daripada kekunci (keys) ini boleh diprogramkan untuk menjalankan pelbagai tugas.Kebanyakan perisian menggunakan kekunci fungsi F1 untuk memberi pertolongan (help) kepada pengguna komputer. jika anda menghadapi masalah, tekan sahaja kekunci F1 anda akan diberikan pertolongan.

ii)       Kekunci Mesin Taip
Kekunci mesin taip (typewriters keys)terletak di bahagian kiri papan kekunci iaitu sama dengan kekunci mesin taip elektronik. Kekunci ini mengandungi huruf, nombor, tanda bacaan dan fungsi lain. Susunan kekunci adalah jenis QWERTY.

iii)      Kekunci Penggerak Kursor
Pada bahagian ini terdapat kekunci penggerak kursor (cursor movement keys) ataupun dipanggil sebagai kekunci arah (Arrow Keys). Anda menggunakan kekunci ini untuk menggerakkan kursor ke atas, ke bawah, ke kiri dan ke kanan. Terdapat juga kekunci lain di sini seperti kekunci Delete, Home, End, Page Up dan Page Down.

iv)      Kekunci Nombor
Bahagian ini mengandungi kekunci nombor (numeric keys) untuk 0 hingga 9. jika anda menekan kekunci Numlock, lampu hijau akan menyala dan semua kekunci akan berfungsi sebagai nombor.


Untuk seorang yang berdepan dengan komputer dalam 1 tempoh masa yang lama, ada kalanya akibat penggunaan komputer, kita akan mengalami sakit urat pada bahagian lengan. Aku sendiri pun biasa mengalaminya. Untuk pengetahuan korang, hal ini sangat bahaya dan memungkinkan korang mengalami Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
